We had a wonderful week stay. There was plenty of room for our entire family of 6 adults and 5 young children. We enjoyed the pool, loved living in the village of Laurens and we found it very convenient to venture out to see other villages and sites in the area!

This is a great vacation home - it had everything to make our vacation a success!

We had a fantastic holiday the villa has every thing you would want for ages ranged from 5 to 80 and there was some thing for everyone. The village was beautiful, the locals very friendly and the pool was hit with everyone.

Lovely villa with plenty of room, great facilities, lovely pool, but not sure which beach was 30 mins away ;) Maybe just high season when roads are busier made it a bit longer?

Would highly recommend though!

Hi Isabelle

Just a line to say we thoroughly enjoyed our recent holiday at your lovely home in Laurens. The good thing about your home and the location is that it caters for all ages. Our party consisted of infants, young children and the elderly - none of whom wanted to leave! The local shops and facilities are excellent and the climate was perfect.

Many thanks

Hi Stuart, Isabelle

Just wanted to say thanks for a really great holiday. All of the twelve members of the family enjoyed it. Even the heavy showers at the start of the week didn't cause too much upset. We did get soaked on Sunday in Beziers when in true British style we tried to eat outside when common sense said go inside. I hope we left everything as it should have been and I shall recommend your house to anyone considering a holiday rental.

Thanks again

'An ideal location for visting the South of France...............the gite had all we wanted and more including a fabulous swimming pool and enough room so that we all had a bedroom each. A great balcony to dine out each morning and evening, and the Faugeres wine is excellent. Laurens has all the necessary ameneties and nearby supermarket in Magalas. A perfect place for relaxation and can recommend without hesitation..........thanks for sharing your home.'

We recently had a family holiday (all 11 of us!) at Stuart and Isabelle's house in the pretty village of Laurens. Everyone had a fantastic time in this spacious lovely house although most of the time was spent lazing by the pool. The facilities were excellent and the weather superb. We would highly recommend it.

Every year my old school friends and I get together and this year was our joint 50th birthdays year so we wanted to go somewhere special. This house in Laurens was perfect, we had space to chill and catch up on a years worth of stories and spend many hours by the pool enjoying laughs and memories of all our past years together.

The house suited us so well and we were able to walk to the local shops for provisions or venture further for a stock up of food and wine. the beds were comfy, the rooms all different and tasteful offering a fantastic base for us to share time together and unwind. The area is so peaceful and very French making the whole experience amazing.

Many thanks

We had a fantastic holiday with our friends. The house is in a very good location, with lots of room for a large family or party of people. There is a good size pool and a very large terrace overlooking the pool. the kitchen is very well equipped for your cooking needs.

There’s a local bakery, butcher, restaurant and a small general store. No need to look further if you want a relaxing holiday. But also plenty of other places to visit for the more adventurous like us.

We will put it on our list to visit again.

We had a lovely holiday at Stuart and Isabelle’s house last June this year with 2 other families. It was just lovely to be able to relax by the pool, although we spent most of our time in the shade of the trees.

The house is really like home from home, and the American fridge with cool water and ice on tap is perfect when it’s so hot outside.

We went for a lovely meal in Bedarieux to “The Forge” which has a massive outdoors terrace under some amazing trees. Really nice food!

We didn’t want to go anywhere specifically as we just wanted to relax, but we still had a few lovely walks in the village.

Just perfect! We will definitely be back and tell our friends about it. Many thanks to Stuart and Isabelle for making this so enjoyable.

We had a family reunion at this lovely holiday home in the old village of Laurens. We were very happy with the house and all the facilities provided.

There is a spacious balcony, with room for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy cocktails in the evening. The hot Mediterranean sun gave us lots of opportunity to use the swimming pool. A bonus was to be able to slip out down the back steps to the patisserie in the village, and in two minutes, pick up freshly baked croissants for breakfast.

We found there was lots to do in the surrounding area, exploring the villages and wine tasting at the local vineyards. We also enjoyed a day trip to Carcassonne.

I would recommend this property and everything it has to offer for an enjoyable family holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at your holiday home, the house had more than enough space for all of us.

The kids spent much of their time in the pool. We had a job to drag them away to visit the local wine co-op. The red wines were especially good and the roses slipped down well whilst sitting on the balcony in the evening.

We will be back again.
