This is an area with something for everyone to enjoy and children are no exception. When not enjoying the swimming pool at the house in Laurens, there are large, family-friendly beaches with water-sports for older kids and donkey-rides for younger ones. There are plenty of sandy beaches for playing on and warm the Mediterranean Sea to play in.

For an active adventure, there are several outdoor activity parks in the region. These usually include a jungle gym and offer a range of activities from paintballing or skateboarding to climbing, all in the pleasant environment of the great outdoors! Try the Parcours Sportif at Bédarieux, or Grandeur Nature at Roquebrun.
Horse-riding is available throughout the Languedoc, there are stables accommodating all levels of ability and treks which take in some of the beautiful local scenery.
Cycling is a great way to get around the area and also a good way to keep kids entertained. Bikes can be hired locally, or keen cyclists may wish to bring their own.
There are numerous Festivals all over the region with plenty to entertain everyone in the family. Check the Calendar of Events for some ideas.

Go-Karting is good fun and usually keeps older kids happy. Try the Sun-Kart at Sérignan.
Bowling is a fun way to spend some time with kids, Xtreme Bowling at Villeneuve-le-Béziers offers a convenient place to enjoy some bowling.
Museums and Galleries may not be every kid’s cup of tea, but there are plenty of different museums in the region, many of which hold special events for children, such as art and craft activities and special hands-on exhibits.
