About your Painting Holiday - Languedoc, France
A typical day on your painting holiday....
Simon your tutor will meet you after breakfast with a vehicle loaded and ready to go.
Each day he'll take you to a different local venue, no more than an hour away. These could vary from an old port on the coast, a nearby Domaine or vineyard, or maybe a square in one of the historic local villages such as Roquebrun or Pezenas.
The Canal du Midi is another favourite location. Imagine sitting in tranquillity on the waters edge, watching the boats drift by and capturing the moment in time.
Or for panoramic views and getting closer to nature, there are many fantastic locations in the Haut Languedoc Natural Park just to the north of Laurens.
Each day Simon will go through various watercolour techniques, composition and perspective, capturing light and shade, and answering any questions you may have.
Whatever your level, Simon will help you improve your painting skills while you enjoy the experience and getting a taste of Languedoc. What could be better!!
