St-Guilhem-Le-Desert
About an hour from the house, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert is a medieval town full of history, old buildings and small streets. The name Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert is actually the name of the abbey, and the village then grew up around it.
With the Caves of Clamouse and Les Demoiselles nearby, it is well worth a visit.
